Chrome Extension Privacy Policy

1. What the extension does

The AGTA extension does two things, and only works if you activate it with your AGTA account:

• Brings your own Amazon Advertising reports into your AGTA account, so you can see your advertising metrics inside the app.
• Lets you request an audit of a product (ASIN) while you are viewing it on Amazon.

2. What data it accesses

Only the following, and only on Amazon sites:

• Session cookies from advertising.amazon.com — used to request YOUR reports on your behalf, exactly as your browser does when you download them manually.
• The product identifier (ASIN) of the Amazon page you are viewing, when you press the audit button.
• The address (URL) and method of the request that the Amazon Advertising interface itself makes when generating a report — so we know which address to request it from afterwards. We do not read the contents of that response.

3. What we do NOT do

• We do not read your browsing on other sites: the extension only acts on amazon.com and advertising.amazon.com.
• We never ask for or store your Amazon password or your two-step verification. You stay signed in to your browser session as always.
• We do not write, edit or delete anything in your Amazon account: we only read reports.
• We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties.
• We do not use your seller data to compete with you or to build our own products.
• We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

4. How it is stored

Session cookies are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) with a dedicated key, separated per user. No one at AGTA reads them: they are used only by the automated process that downloads your reports.

If your Amazon session expires, the record is marked as expired and is no longer used until you renew it by signing in to your console.

5. Retention and deletion

The stored session is replaced every time the extension refreshes it, and is deleted when you disconnect the extension from its popup or when you request it by email.

Downloaded reports remain in your AGTA account for as long as it is active; closing your account deletes them with it.
